Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published recruitment notification August
2013 For 147 posts of Geologists, Group-A, Assistant Geologists Grade-I, Jr.Hydro
geologists and Assistant Hydro geologists vacancies.
Eligible Candidates can apply via Online mode before 23 September 2013.
Total No of Posts: 147
Name of Posts:
1. Geologists, Group-A: 50 Posts
2. Assistant Geologists Grade-I: 25 Posts
3. Jr.Hydro Geologists: 33 Posts
4. Assistant Hydro Geologists: 39 Posts
Age Limitations: Candidates Age should be between 21-32 years as on 01 August 2013. Age
Relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. rules
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed Master Degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied
Application Fee:
1. General & OBC Candidates - Rs.200/-
2. SC/ ST/PH - No Fee.
Selection Method: Selection will be done on the basis of Examination, Physical test and
interview.
