Recruitment for the Posts of SRF (Senior Research Fellow)

Applications are invited on plane paper for the following full-time post to be filled in for the
following BRNS sponsored project. No. 2012/36/09-BRNS titled Scale Invariant Human
Face detection and Recognition System using Gray Still Images Available Duration of
the project: 2 years; Post: Senior Research Fellow; No. of posts: 01.

Qualifications, Experience and Salary:

Candidates with M.E./M.Tech. (First Class) in Electronics or allied branches, Candidates
B.E./B.Tech. (First Class) in Electronics and allied branches preferably with Image
processing, pattern recognition and/or embedded applications background.
The remuneration for SRF will be Rs. 18,000/- per month. The initial appointment will be for
a year but extendable based on the performance. The post will be coterminous with the
durations of the project. Interested candidates may apply on plain paper so that their

Note: The project is funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) of
Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), BARC, Mumbai, Government of India. The post is
purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Mere fulfillment of qualifications/
experience requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview.
Candidates will be short-listed based on their academic performance/relevant professional
experience. Only the short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. Selected
candidates will be intimated by post/e-mail. No correspondence whatsoever will be
